This is a strengthening, toning yogalates practice with a fusion of seated, floor and wall assisted movements, effective for every body, suitable for beginners and all levels. Take time to move and strengthen your entire body, connecting with your breath, while focusing on the Truth of who God created you to be. This practice will oxygenate your blood, lubricate the joints, all while strengthening your breath, muscles, and mind.

Imbalance between stability and flexibility in the feet can create problems elsewhere in the body. The anatomy of the feet is closely connected to the health of the lumbar spine and unstable, collapsed arches can be the cause of an achy low back. Conversely, excess tension is linked to inflammation in the soft tissues of the arch, a painful condition known as plantar fasciitis.

 

A series of stretches can reduce tension and inflammation in the foot and joints. In doing so, it can provide both rapid pain relief and a steady improvement in symptoms over time. In this 60 minute session, we will focus on the feet, improving blood flow, balance and muscle strengthening throughout the body focusing on tension relief within the lower back, legs, knees and feet.

Yoga is scientifically proven to help with weight loss. Several studies on yoga and its effect on weight loss showed clear proof that the majority of participants had a noticeable reduction in belly fat, decrease in weight and also felt better mentally. Studies also revealed how the stress reduction that yoga provides plays a major role in weight loss. In this session, we will focus on a flow of poses to increase blood flow, heart rate and core strength while decreasing excess fat, fatigue and stress. Prepare to be ENERGIZED!
